Oakridge Timber director Chris Vardon is retiring from the business after 12 years of working with fellow director Graham Hollyoake in building the business from humble beginnings in 2004 to the well-established and successful timber merchant in Hampshire it has now become. All at Oakridge wish Chris and his partner Dawn all the best for a long and happy retirement. No doubt you will still see him from time to time working occasionally, as 43 years in the timber trade in Southampton selling fence panels, decking, sleepers and fencing materials will be a hard habit to break! .
Paul Everett has been employed as our new Sales Manager and comes with a wealth of experience having worked in the garden fencing and timber landscaping business in Hampshire for nearly 20 years. Already his specialised knowledge of sleepers, fencing materials and decking in Totton and Southampton is paying dividends with new product lines and developing new business such as round and half round fencing.
