Fence Panels and Trellis

All our fence panels and trellis panels are hand-made on site to a high standard using pressure treated timber from FSC certified sustainable sources.

Lap Panels

Our heavy duty Lap panels ( also known as waney edge panels ) are constructed using 5 vertical battens each side, with 2 bottom and 1 top horizontal. The secret to a strong panel is good thickness of framework batten and a generous overlap of the slats. Combined with a fully planed 20mm x 47mm top cap to make our panel one of the strongest and best looking available, putting to shame those from the DIY outlets. Panel sizes: – 6’x 6’, 5’6 x 6’ , 5’ x 6’, 4’ x 6’, 3’ x 6’

Closeboard Panels

We also manufacture an even more robust panel – The Closeboard ( Feather Edge ) Panel – constructed from heavy 32mm x 47mm framework, 22 x 125 ( 2 ex ) feather edge boards and a 20mm thick capping piece. The framework is screwed together to give maximum strength and we use 19 boards per panel to ensure shrinkage of boards is not a problem in hot conditions. Panel sizes: – 6’x 6’, 5’6 x 6’ , 5’ x 6’, 4’ x 6’, 3’ x 6’

Trellis

For our trellis panels we only use pressure treated 19mm x 38mm batten which means strength and stability compared to the inferior trellis available from other outlets which is made from 16mm thickness.

Our standard trellis is made with 4.5” squares or you can specify 2.5” squares (screen trellis) – are all supplied with heavy top capping which provides strength and longevity of the trellis. Trellis sizes: – 6’ x 6’, 5’ x 6’, 4’ x 6’, 3’ x 6’, 2’ x 6’, 1’ x 6’, 2’ x 10’, 1’ x 10’ Special sizes can be made – please phone for details for all our trellis panels Hampshire.
